Call for Artists! Phoenix Rising: The Church of Art Invitational

Loren Naji has gathered a clergy of art innovators who will work together, as a team, on public and underground projects, while also co-curating unconventional exhibits in this re-invented art space. The Church of Art is committed to showing and producing highly creative, edgy art that breaks barriers in today’s stagnant art scene.

Come help us lay the foundation for our new gallery space. This is an open call for artists to come into the Church of Art and paint or draw directly on the gallery walls, floors and ceilings.

This communal, installation-like experience will be our Grand Opening show on Saturday, June 30 during Waterloo Arts Festival.
The art will remain on the gallery walls permanently.

Don't miss this opportunity to have your work archived in this radically innovative Cleveland art gallery. Essentially, it will be visible for all future shows!

  • Exhibit Parameters
  • Artists should bring their own supplies and paint.
  • If you would like to donate any kind of used paint for other artists to use, it would be a great environmentally friendly gesture!
  • Your work can be any size, however this exhibit will result in a graffiti-like, layered aesthetic. Your work may have undefined boundaries allowing your and others' art to merge and interact.
  • Respect each other's work!!!
  • We encourage collaboration!!!

We will have the gallery open for artists to work every day from Friday, June 22 through Tuesday June 26 from 10 am to 10 pm.
