Incite:: Poetic Conversations #1 Dave Lucas

Join us Tuesday, February 27 at 7pm for the first in a series of conversations with writers from across our region and beyond. 

The evening starts with our Tape Collage Series where we revisit avant recordings from our archive.

Joining us for the first of these evenings will be newly appointed Poet Laureate of the State of Ohio, Dave Lucas.

More about our poet -
Dave Lucas is the author of Weather (Georgia, 2011), which received the 2012 Ohioana Book Award for Poetry. Named by Rita Dove as one of thirteen “young poets to watch,” he has also received a “Discovery/The Nation Prize and a Cleveland Arts Prize. In 2018, he was named the second Poet Laureate of the State of Ohio. A co-founder of Brews + Prose at Market Garden Brewery and Cleveland Book Week, he teaches at Case Western Reserve University and lives in Cleveland, where he was born and raised.
