Dana's debut solo album, Carve, was released through Innova Recordings in 2017 and features four newly commissioned works for bassoon and electronics alongside solo acoustic improvisations. The album has received celebrated reviews and mentions from the Chicago Reader, All About Jazz, and ATTN:Magazine, among others. Additional recordings can be heard on Cantaloupe Records, New Focus, Innova Recordings, Ravello, RIOJA, Oberlin Music, Evil Rabbit and New World Records. Dana is currently based in Oberlin, Ohio, where she serves as Associate Professor of Contemporary Music and Improvisation at the Oberlin Conservatory as well as the Director of Professional Development.

Shane Parish

Shane Parish is the guitarist for the celebrated avant-rock band Ahleuchatistas (Tzadik / International Anthem / Cuneiform). His electric guitar works are intense environments, exposed to the elements, and populated by assorted creatures. As an acoustic soloist, he creatively interprets and deconstructs folk music and jazz tunes, plays original cutting-edge poly-rhythmic and contrapuntal works, and transforms the instrument, via preparations and detuning, into a mini-percussion ensemble, banging out pulsating rhythmic trances reminiscent of John Cage's prepared solo piano works. Parish's 2016 collection of folk interpretations Undertaker Please Drive Slow (Tzadik Records) was described by composer John Zorn as "reminiscent of John Fahey and Robbie Basho, at times of John Cage and Morton Feldman, Shane uses these beautiful songs as launching pads for his creative flights of fancy, at times boiling them down to their very essence. A spiritual project that will keep you riveted from first note to last.” His latest releases are Child Asleep in the Rain (Nullzone Tapes), December (self-released), Autodidact (Humanhood Recordings), and a duo album with guitarist Wendy Eisenberg called Nervous Systems (Verses Records).

Wendy Eisenberg

Wendy Eisenberg is an improvising guitarist, banjo-player, vocalist and poet. Using the languages of free jazz, new music, metal and art song, their music challenges the representational and technical demands placed on a guitar and a banjo in contemporary music.

Wendy has two solo careers: improviser/composer, and songwriter. Wendy’s debut record as an improviser, “Its Shape Is Your Touch,” came out in October 2018. Their trio, “The Machinic Unconscious,” with Ches Smith and Trevor Dunn, released their debut album on Tzadik that same month. Both records made Billboard’s Critic’s Choice Top Ten Jazz Records year end list, and received features and attention from NPR and National Sawdust. Their album of quiet art-pop songs, Time Machine was remastered and re-released on Feeding Tube records on September 7th, 2018.
